Man Pleads Guilty To Voluntary Manslaughter
A Mount Carmel man, pleads guilty to shooting and killing another man and is now serving a twelve year prison sentence. 21 year old Quinten Shelton, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, reduced from second degree murder in the death of Zaccari Miller in 2016. Shelton, shot Miller in the back of the head after an argument at a home on Donnelson Driver in Kingsport. Shelton also pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence after he admitted to placing the gun his Miller’s hand and first claiming Miller shot himself,which the evidence disproved.
