Joint Effort In Carter County Results In More Than 70 Arrests

Carter County law enforcement and Elizabethton Police are wrapping up a major drug roundup that has already resulted in more than 70 drug related arrests made since Friday. Authorities have seized cash, firearms, and vehicles connected to drug activities in the area. Sheriff Dexter Lunsford says through the joint efforts more than one million dollars worth of narcotics have been taken off the streets during the last year.
