Area Pastor Facing Child Sex Crimes

A former pastor of an area church has been charged with sex crimes against a child. Jeff Rolen, campus pastor of Highlands Fellowship in Wise, VA is charged with 10 counts of indecent liberties with a child. The alledged incedent occurred over 30 years ago. If convicted Rolen could face up to 5 years in jail. Highlands Fellowship has released Rolen from his current positon. They say that pre-employment background checks did not reveal any issues.
