Bristol Virginia City Council To Consider Preliminary Budget Tuesday

This years operating budget in Bristol Virginia could see numerous cuts to city agencies. And tonight city council will consider a preliminary budget at it’s city council meeting. While the mayor says the city is in better financial shape due to not having to take out a short term loan like previous years, The school system is facing more than 300 thousand dollars in cuts to its budget this year. City Council will also have the opportunity to hear the city managers recommendations for the first time.
