Wise County Man Dies from Injuries Sustained in Crash on Route 68

A Wise County man has a died from injuries sustained in a crash, according to a report by the Virginia State Police.

54-year-old Darrin Carter was traveling on Route 68 in a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country when he ran off the right side of the road. He over corrected and lost control of the vehicle; going over an embankment and hitting a tree.

Carter would later die from his injuries. The wreck is still under investigation.
