Numerous Races Contested Throughout Tri Cities

It’s Primary Election Day in the Tri Cities region. Numerous races involving county mayors, County trustees, Clerks, road superintendents and commissioners are all up for grabs. One of the more contentious races involves the Washington County Tennessee Mayors race between Joe Grandy, Mark Ferguson and current Johnson City Mayor David Tomita. The three have hurled allegations against one another from the beginning. The polls close at eight this evening and Super Talk 92.9 WFHG will begin election coverage at seven this evening.
