Blue Plum Festival Enacts “Plan B”

The Blue Plum festival is still afloat despite concerns of flood waters from Brush Creek. The event will instead be relocated in front of Trek Bicycle Shop on West Market Street.

This is part of the rquired plan B for just such circumstances. Vendors and entertainment will still be out in full force and the Blue Plum Festival Board of Director’s hopes to draw the largest crowd to date.

Last year the festival drew a crowd somewhere between 8,000 and 10,000 people. The Festival Board will finalize a revised map and have it launched on the website Friday afternoon.
