Area schools ensuring their students don’t go hungry this summer with annual feeding program
Bristol and Johnson City Tennessee school officials are kicking off their annual summer feeding program.
Meals will be served at five locations in Bristol, five days a week through July 27th. Food will be provided at 18 different summer programs in Johnson City, including through the system’s Bookmobile program. This service is free and avaliable to any child under 18.
in Bristol, Fairmount Elementary will serve breakfast from 8 to 9am…and four other locations will be serving lunches including Mountain View Apartments and Meadow View Mobile Home Park.
The system served more then 222,000 lunches and 14,000 breakfasts last summer.
