J.C. Fire Chief Releases New Fire Prevention Plan
A new fire prevention initiative is being unveiled by Johnson City Fire Chief Jim Stables. Stables says residential and commercial fires in Johnson City are the result of cooking incidents, improper disposal of flammable materials and even improper electrical work. Stables wants to cut down on these types of fires in the city and has released a new plan aimed at increasing fire prevention and education. Fire Fighters responded to more than 125 fires last year.
