New Proposed Consolidated High School In Sullivan County Already Over Budget

A newly proposed Sullivan County consolidated high school is over budget and the current contract does not include construction of a football stadium or baseball fields at West Ridge High School. Board members got a look at a 54 million dollar draft contract Thursday evening. School leaders are considering a recommendation that would take just under five million dollars from a fund balance to pay for the the athletic fields in question. The board will consider the contract bid again at next months meeting on August first.
