BrightRidge Plans Multi Million Dollar Expansion Of Services
If a local power utility company can get governmental approval, within the next few years, that company could be offering expanded services besides electricity. BrightRidge, the former Johnson City Power Board has plans to invest up to 64 million dollars over eight years to provide customers with broadband internet, cable television, and phone service. If approved, the first installations would be mainly in the downtown Johnson City and Jonesborough districts.
