TDOT Conducting Study On Dangerous Highway 11W Intersection

Since 2016 eight people have died in crashes along a dangerous section of Highway 11W in Rogersville. And now the Tennessee Department of Transportation is investigating those crashes in an effort to prevent future crashes in and around the 11W and West Main Street intersection. TDOT recently approved funding for study on a nearly five mile section of 11W which includes the area where those crashes have occurred. The study is in its early stages and not timetable as to when it will be completed.
