Church Hill Man Arrested For Allegedly Beating Girlfriend.

A Church Hill Tennessee man is jailed after allegedly beating his girlfriend after she broke his meth pipe during a confrontation over his drug use. Police arrested 26 year old Shane Thomas Corker after the woman called police and said Corker grabbed her and pushed her into a bedroom where he struck her several times.Corker, then stole her cell phone and vehicle and led police on a high speed chase before authorities called off the pursuit for safety reasons. Corker was arrested the next day after police found the stolen vehicle on Big Elm Road and later located Corker a short distance away on Ramey Town Road. Corker is charged with felony evading, theft, domestic violence, reckless driving and speeding.
