Six Hawkins High School Students To Serve On Board of Education
Six senior high school students from Hawkins County are now a part of the Hawkins County Board of Education. The six students are part of the student represenative program. Each qualified to serve on the board with elected officials by scoring high on ACT scores, having at least a three point zero grade point average, no disciple referrals, five days or fewer absences and a petition signed by fellow students and faculty. The six scholars will have a chance to work on school board policy along side fellow elected board of education members.
