Elizabethton leaders agreed to spend one and a half million dollars on upgrades to the stadium and the Minnesota Twins organization will contribute another 800 thousand dollars toward those upgrades. Work on the stadium upgrades could begin in the next few weeks and the facility will be ready for opening of next season in June.
