Abingdon Pair Caught With Thirty Thousand Dollars Worth Of Stolen Property

They’re accused of stealing more than 70 different items of personal property from their neighbors, and now a man and woman from Abingdon are in jail. 28 year old Bobby Lee Widener, and 33 year old Shannon Leigh Roe are both facing numerous theft and grand larceny charges involving break-ins in their own neighborhood in the 16 thousand block of Black Hollow Road. Authorities discovered 79 stolen items including a washer and dryer, knives, and furniture totaling thirty thousand dollars. Both Widener and Roe are being held in an Abingdon jail.
