Outsiders Head List Of Finalists For Hawkins Director Of Schools

Two outsiders have emerged as the finalists for the Director of Schools post in Hawkins County. Matt Hixon, an educator from California and Thomas Sisk an educator from Alabama will be interviewed again this Monday. The two men made it out of a pool of six applicants by scoring high on a list of 20 questions asked by a consultant conducting the interview process. The Board of Education meets Monday and is expected to vote on the matter following the interviews of both applicants.
