Police Searching for Robbery Suspect

Police are searching for a male suspect that robbed a Carter County Bank at gunpoint.

The suspect entered the bank on Milligan Highway in Elizabethton at around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. His face was covered. He pointed a weapon at the teller and demanded money.

The suspect then left the bank and got in a blue sedan that headed towards Johnson City. The man is described as being in his 50s and wearing a yellow shirt.
