Jonesborough School Board Still Unsure On School Renovation Plans

There is still no new progress on what to do about two schools in Jonesborough, despite a joint meeting on Monday to address the long standing issue of school renovations. About the only thing the Washington County Tennessee School Board and County Commissioners can agree on is that something needs to be done. With plenty of discussions in the past and a tax increase to fund the project, the school board still isn’t sure how to address the improvement project for Jonesborough Middle School and Jonesborough Elementary School. One plan currently being debated would double the size of the middle school and leave the elementary school alone.
