Sullivan County Schools Placed on “Soft Lockdown” after Electronic Threat
Sullivan County Schools have been placed on a “soft lockdown” after online threats were made.
The threats were made around 9:15 according to Sullivan County Director of Schools Evelyn Raflowski.
Investigators say the threat was made by mobile device Bluff City. The exact origins of the message have yet to be traced.
A soft lockdown means classes go on as usual but students do not go outside.
The school system plans to resume schedule as normal of tomorrow. Some bus delays may be expected with the lockdwon.
