Two Children Injured When Driver Crashes Vehicle While Under The Influence…Deputy Assaulted

Two children in Carter County are sent to the hospital over the weekend…one with serious injuries and a Carter County deputy is assaulted after a Roan Mountain man crashes his vehicle while operating it under the influence. 39 year old Marc Andrew Trubiano lost control of his car in a curve on State Route 362 and rolled onto its roof. A six year old female was taken to Johnson City Medical Center with serious bodily injuries. A ten year old boy was treated for minor injuries. Trubiano was not injured, but is charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and vehicular assault on a deputy by intoxication.
