Federal Assistance Programs Available For Those Affected By Closing Of Bristol Compressors

Congressman Morgan Griffith is announcing employees left without jobs when Bristol Compressor closes its operation will be eligible for various assistance programs. Those programs include retraining courses and funds to cover materials. Bristol Compressors announced in July it would be closing down and eliminating almost 500 jobs. Griffith says the closing of Bristol Compressors has disrupted the lives and financial situations for employees and he urges those affected to seek assistance from the programs available.
