A man is dead after being struck by a train Tuesday evening in Scott County, Virginia.

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as Benjamin Elliott, 33, and continues its investigation into how the man died while walking along train tracks in Clinchport, Virginia last night. We’ll continue to update you on this story as more information is released.
