Kingsport Police Asking for Public’s Help in Investigation of Weekend Crash
Kingsport Police are asking for the public’s help in their investigation into an accident involving a vehicle that may have hit a pedestrian.
Police responded to an accident on Hammond Road at 9:00 P.M. Saturday night involving a Black Toyota RAV4. The driver and passenger told police the right passenger rear-view mirror struck an unidentified object and believed they may have clipped a pedestrian with the mirror.
Authorities have yet to confirm that, and an extensive search of the area was conducted. Investigators are asking that anyone who may have seen the crash should contact the Kingsport Police Department Traffic Unit at (423)-224-2750 or call the Kingsport Central Dispatch at (423)-246-9111.
