Kingsport Juveniles Allegedly Steal/Crash Truck; Arrested by THP

Two juvenile boys are being charged in the case of a stolen Dodge truck that crashed in Kingsport Friday night.

A report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol says the juveniles allegedly ran from the scene of the accident, before being caught nearly three hours later near a convenience store on Highway 11-W.

The two boys are charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, while the older suspect has additional charges of reckless driving, failure to use due care, and leaving the scene of a crash. They are currently held in a juvenile detention center.
