Teachers of the Year Announced in Sullivan County

The Sullivan County Department of Education has announced and honored the district 2018-2019 Teachers of the Year and Principal of the year.

The annual awards were created through collaboration of the Tennessee Department of Education. The awards recognize the distinguised accomplishments of a peer-nominated recipeient from each district in service to their students, schools and school districts.

The 2019 winners are Mrs Brandy Nothnagel – Elementary Teacher of the Year, Mr. Ryan Lovelace – Middle School Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Mary Jernigan – High School Teacher of the Year, and Dr. Lesley Fleenor – Principal of the Year.
