BREAKING: Shooting at Colonial Heights Dentist Office; One Dead, Suspect Injured

A shooting at a Colonial Heights Dentist Office leaves one dead and one injured.

According to Sullivan County Sheriff Jeff Cassidy, the shooting was a domestic incident between a husband and wife. The husband allegedly entered the David Guy Denistry Offices and shot his wife, before being shot by a citizen with a conceal carry permit.

The citizen was able to contain the situation until officers arrived on scene. Sheriff Cassidy has confirmed that the wife was killed in the shooting. The citizen also wounded the suspect during the standoff, and the suspect will face charges once released from the hospital.
