Kingsport Man Killed By Officers in Florida Police Pursuit

A Kingsport man is dead following a shooting with law enforcement in Florida.

According to information from the Gulf County Sheriff’s Office, a police pursuit involving Joseph Durman, 46, began in Bay County, Florida, and ended in Gulf County in Port St Joe.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is currently investigating the shooting, and we’ll provide updates about the case once they become available.
