Autopsy Being Performed On Body Found In Holston River In Hawkins County

Hawkins County authorities and Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agents are now awaiting results of an autopsy being performed on a body that was found in the Holston River near Church Hill Sunday morning. The male body was found floating on private property near Christian’s Bend boat ramp in Hawkins County. According to investigators working the case, there have been no recent reports of missing people from the area in Hawkins County. Investigators believe the body had been in the water for an extended period of time.
