Tips, Info, And Undercover Drug Operation Lead To Three Arrests In Hawkins County

Information and tips received by the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office and an undercover drug operation land three individuals in jail. 29 year old Michael William Sproles of Bowater drive was arrested after authorities received a tip that Sproles had a large amount of meth. Sproles was arrested at a home on Stanley Valley Road. Another tip led authorities to arrest 39 year old Robert Lee Mathews of Oakdale Road for possession of methamphetamine after he was stopped on West Stone Drive. And an undercover drug investigation by the sheriff’s office has resulted in the arrest of 39 year old Chad Edward Vest of Hammond Avenue
