Bristol Virginia Schools Will Present Central School Zone Site To City Council

Bristol Virginia City School leaders will be presenting their findings for a proposed new elementary school to city leaders. Council members asked school officials to look at the possibility of locating a new elementary school in the central part of the city. A plan that is expected to be expensive and also would have another issue.

City leaders have already rejected a school board proposal to build a 600 plus student elementary school on the present Van Pelt Elementary site.
