Suspicious Activity Leads To Two Arrests In Lee County
An astute Lee County Sheriff’s Deputy arrests two suspects for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. The deputy was attempting to serve papers in the Jasper section when he noticed a male and female acting suspicious near a white Chevy Blazier outside the residence the deputy was approaching. Authorities arrested 27 year old Sonya Denise Taylor of Duffield, and 43 year old Timothy Todd Bishop, also of Duffield. Bishop fled from the deputy on foot but was apprehended a short time later. During a search the deputy discovered was is thought to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the car and on Taylor as well. Bishop was also arrested on an outstanding Capias.
