‘Fun Run’ to honor Mall of Johnson City manager scheduled for this weekend

One area organization is presenting a marathon this weekend to honor the memory of a former Mall at Johnson City worker tragically killed one year ago.

The Kelly Roberts Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday on the mall campus beginning at 8:30 a.m. The Goose Chase, the group sponsoring the event, says all of the proceeds will go to Roberts family. The former mall assistant manager was killed in a head-on crash on Highway 19-E in November.

Saturday would have been Kelly’s 31st birthday.
