Voices Told Limestone Man To Stab Victim…Charged With Attempted First Degree Murder

A Limestone Tennessee man is charged with attempted first degree murder following a stabbing in which he said voices told him to do it. 28 year old Tyler S. Penley of Providence Road was arrested after deputies found a victim who had been stabbed multiple times in the face, head and body. The victim was flown by Wings Air Rescue to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition. Penley lives in the same home as the victim and when interviewed told authorities voices had told him to stab the victim. Penley admitted to the stabbings and his bond is set at one hundred thousand dollars. Penley is being held in the Washington County Tennessee Detention Center.
