Elizabethton Man Facing Felony Charges Following Two Incidents on Highway 91
An alleged road rage incident Wednesday night in Carter County sends two people to the hospital.
A Tennessee Highway Patrol crash report says Michael Richardson, 35, and a woman were both traveling on Highway 91, when for reasons unknown, Richardson rammed his vehicle into the back of the woman’s vehicle. Richardson continued on, while the woman pulled into a nearby store parking lot to seek safety. Richardson then left the roadway a short time later, striking trees, causing the vehicle to overturn and catch fire. Richardson was pulled from the vehicle by good Samaritans and transported to the hospital by emergency crews.
He is facing felony charges for both incidents.
