Veterans Expo Coming To Southwest Virgina

A local veterans expo is offering services like medical, transportation, education and housing Friday at Abingdon’s Higher Education Center. The Southwest Virginia Veterans Expo will offer a wide range of services for veterans in one location. 4th District Senator Todd Pillion explains the goal of the expo.

(:09)…We try to get everybody tht potentially could touch the life of a veteran to be under one roof so these veterans can show up and we can make it as easy as possible for them and their families to take advantage of it.

The expo is being held at the Higher Ed Center from ten till two Friday.
