Southwest Virginia Health Departments Now Offering Flu Vaccinations
Southwest Virginia’s Mount Rogers Health District is announcing all local health departments in the region are now offering flu vaccinations. The agency is recommending everyone six months of age and older get a flu shot as the first and most important step in protecting against this serious disease. Walk-Ins are accepted but it is best to call the local agency office you choose to use for an appointment to avoid wait times. The Mount Rogers Health District serves residents of Wythe, Washington, Smyth, Grayson, Carroll, and Bland Counties along with the cities of Bristol and Galax.
