UVA College Of Wise Establishes New Internship Program

Virginia is losing a growing number of its college educated residents to other states. But that trend may change with a new, expanded internship program that will allow students at UVA Wise to participate in internships and other work based learning opportunities in collaboration with Virginia employers. UVA Wise will use more than 75 thousand dollars to establish internships in the School of Engineering and Applied Science as well as a centralized internship management program for better tracking and consistent administration of internships. The funding comes from the State Council of Higher Education.
