Jonesborough K-8 School and Athletic Facility Proposal Plans Now Public, Commission to Consider Next Thursday

The Washington County Commission is set to consider and possibly vote on an amended plan for a proposed new K-8 school and athletic facility in Jonesborough next week.

The proposed terms on the lease agreement have been made public as of yesterday which will be under review by commissioners during next Thursday’s special called meeting. The revised proposal would have Jonesborough finance construction of the facilities, and upon completion, Washington County would assume the lease.
