Search Warrant Turns Up Large Amounts Of Drugs And Weapons Charges In Smyth County

A successful execution of a search warrant in Smyth County Virginia has resulted in the arrest of a Saltville, Virginia man charged with drugs and weapons offenses. Sheriff Authorities confiscated nearly three ounces of methamphetamine and a large amount of marijuana at the residence of Ronald Lee Carter , Sr of 305 Third Avenue in Saltville. Carter was being held without bond at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Abingdon.
