Lincoln Elementary Named Gold Level Model Of Demonstration School

Kingsport’s Lincoln Elementary School will now serve as a mentor school for other schools across East Tennessee as part of a statewide award. The school was chosen as one of the schools from across the state that have implemented a new, positive and proactive behavioral systems framework for students. The program called RTI2-B consists of identifying common behavioral expectations across campus, teaching, reteaching, reinforcing and regularly acknowledging students, faculty and families for exhibiting the programs expectations.
