Georgia Man Receives Hefty Prison Sentence For Meth Conspiracy In Southwest Virginia, While Still In Prison
A Georgia man, who lead an interstate methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy from his prison cell has now been sentenced to an additional 235 months of incarceration in a federal prison. 31 year old Adrian Romero led a drug conspiracy from January 2017 to May of 2018 that resulted in the distribution of large amounts of the drug into Southwest Virginia. Romero admitted he led the drug operation from his prison cell where he was serving time for other methamphetamine charges. Two other defendants from Georgia and another from Virginia will be sentenced later for their roles in the conspiracy.
