Police: Man Tells Police He Was Being Payed $10,000 by the FBI because he had “Cameras In His Eyes”
A Limestone man arrested on an active warrant, tells police he went into Food City to pick up a $10,000 bank card an FBI agent left him.
A police report from Greeneville Police say they were called to the Asheville Highway Food City location for a possible shoplifting. As they made contact with suspect Shane Myers, he told officers he was there to pick up the bank card left for him by an agent out of Elizabethton, and said he was being payed because he had cameras in his eyes for the FBI. Records found an active violation probation for Myers’s arrest. While the arresting officer explained to Myers why he was being taken into custody, Myers stated that he was good friends with Greene County Sheriff Wesley Holt and Sheriff Holt would put a hold on that active warrant for three days.
He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center without incident.
