Governor Northam Announces Virginia’s Unemployment Rate Continues at 2.6%

For the seventeenth consecutive month, Virginia’s labor force has expanded and the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remains the lowest in the Southeast. Governor Ralph Northam announced the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate continued at two point six percent. Virginia’s rate also continues to be below the national average. Virginia is ranked fourth in the nation for the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate.
