Over 100 2nd Amendment Sanctuaries now in Virginia, General Assembly to reconvene soon with several gun related bills up for consideration
Over 100 localities across the state of Virginia have declared themselves 2nd amendment sanctuaries.
That’s according to the latest update from the Virginia Citizens Defense League, with nearly all Southwest Virginia counties, cities, and towns making the non-legally binding declaration, which states their commitment to not enforcing certain proposed gun legislation deemed by them as violation of the 2nd amendment as it pertains to the constitution. As of Tuesday, close to two dozen gun related bills by the House and Senate are up for consideration as the General Assembly is set to go into session at the beginning of the year.
