TDH: County Health Departments now offering free flu vaccines
With flu levels reaching widespread status across the state of Tennessee, the department of health is now offering free flu shots statewide.
In a news release, the department said while supplies last, anyone who has yet to get a flu shot can get one at any county health department clinic. According to Health Commissioner Lisa Piercey, children, the elderly, and pregnant women are at the most risk for illness or death from influenza.
