“Pioneer Academy” Dual-enrollment program coming soon to Tusculum University
A new dual enrollment program sponsored by Tusculum University is set to launch this fall.
The program titled “Pioneer Academy” will give high school students an opportunity to take college level courses with the goal of enhancing their connection the campus while providing a seamless transition to college. Two sections of Pioneer Academy include Pioneer Pathways and Pioneer Pipeline, initiatives designed to give students a chance to take classes that will help position them to earn an associate’s degree at the University, while then hopefully guiding them to a bachelor’s degree.
The University notes that dual enrollment students who take all of their classes at Tusculum and maintain Tennessee dual enrollment eligibility will have no out of pocket tuition expenses.
