THP: Charges pending in Christmas Day crash on Highway 91

An Elizabethton man was airlifted to the hospital following a crash on Christmas Day in Carter County.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 2006 Mazda driven by Jason Szabo, 29, was traveling along north along Highway 91, when he lost control and traveled off the right side of the road into a tree. He was transported by WINGS Air Rescue to Johnson City Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

Charges are pending in the crash, according to THP.
