SCSO: One dead after motorcyle crash Friday night in Bluff City

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened Friday night in Bluff City.

The Sheriff’s Office says they responded to an accident that occurred around 11:00 p.m in the 1600 area of Chinquapin Grove Road, where a report says, for unknown reasons, a motorcycle left the roadway and struck a tree, causing the rider to be thrown from the motorcycle. The rider died at the scene. His identity has not been released at this time.
