GOP US Senate candidate Hagerty brings in Donald Trump, Jr. for January fundraiser

A GOP candidate looking to fill the seat of the retiring Lamar Alexander in the US Senate is holding a $1,000 a plate fundraiser and will bring in Donald Trump, Jr., as the keynote speaker.

Former Japan-US ambassador Bill Hagerty will hold the event in Gallatin on January 28. Hagerty already has the endorsement of President Trump and is currently opposed for the nomination by Nashville trauma surgeon Manny Sethi in the GOP primary.
